Navigating the Complexities of a Medical Crisis Away from Home!

For 30 years Angels of Flight has helped Canadians get the emergency medical care they need when they’re away from home. Providing access to qualified healthcare professionals, travellers can rest easy knowing they will get the right help at the right time.

Angels of Flight Canada knows every second counts in a medical emergency. These situations require a prompt connection to a Canadian Healthcare Professional to discuss available options and receive assistance with travel arrangements to get home.

To ensure faster and more effective methods of activating an International “HELP” response for clients, Angels of Flight Canada Inc. is pleased to announce the launching of a new mobile APP available to both ANDROID and IPHONE users. This APP is not designed to respond to emergencies where first responders are required at the location.

The overall objective are to save time, save hospitalization costs, and have the ability to recover surrounded by family. HALO MEDCARD members will share an added benefit by having immediate access to their stored vital data.

Knowledgeable and experienced professionals at Angels of Flight Canada problem solve, overcome challenges and coordinate and facilitate medical transportation home for people including those who may require further medical care.

“When time is always of the essence, this mobile technology is going to enhance the ability for people to receive help in a timely way” reports Gail Courneyea RN., President & CEO of Angels of Flight Canada. “ A HALO MEDCARD member stated, “It is stressful enough dealing with the health issues without worrying about the communication process. Peace of mind for an annual fee of only $125.00.”

This new free APP is advantageous to anyone when they’re away from home. The Global 911 International APP was developed so that with
the touch of a button, the user will be identified together with their geographical location and a customized message will be sent directly to a Registered Nurse Navigator.
