PASSION OVER REASON: TOM THOMSON AND JOYCE WIELAND: On until November 19, 2017
A love letter to Tom Thomson and Canada, this exhibition takes a critical approach to our fascination with Thomson and confirms what Wieland pointed to in the 1970s: Thomson is Canada.

THE GROUP OF SEVEN GUITAR PROJECT: On until October 29, 2017
Explore seven masterwork guitars by seven great Canadian guitar makers inspired by the Group of Seven and Tom Thomson.

HIGHER STATES: LAWREN HARRIS AND HIS AMERICAN CONTEMPORARIES: On until September 4, 2017
A groundbreaking exhibition focused on the captivating abstract works of leading Group of Seven member Lawren Harris and his US counterparts.

ACOUSTIC CONVERSATIONS: On until October 29, 2017
Experience the Group of Seven guitars through seven moderated conversations between top musicians and their favourite guitar makers. Integrating art, history, and exclusive guitar performances, the exclusive Acoustic Conversations series runs until October 29, 2017.

The McMichael’s Toronto-based Art Bus runs every Sunday in July and August — for only $10!

Round-trip transportation to the McMichael departs from 80 Spadina Avenue (King and Spadina) at 10:30 am, and heads back downtown at 3:30 pm.
